The war-ravaged town of Varzette was unfortunately separated into four different sections to further accommodate life. The Northern most section of the desecrated city is where many of the lower class citizens escaped to. Zaurin was elected the Peacemaker in charge of maintaining a balanced order among the disillusioned citizens. There are luckily few buildings that maintain significant stature among the ranks of the lower class, mainly owned by the Lufin family.
Lufin’s Inn: Originally the grand mansion owned by the Lufin family, now turned into a decent Inn, among other things. A warm welcome is greeted to those that enter the estate. Unfortunately, the high cost of a night prevents many street commoners from entering the Inn. Many things one might need can be located throughout the estate, whether it is food, clothing, equipment, or a mate for a lonely evening.
Lucky 7: A rather sleazy motel, chiefly used by those that cannot afford the high rates charged at the Lufin’s Inn. A hard pillow and even harder bed are the only things promised from this place.
Lufin’s Armory: The name is self-explanatory, dealing with the sales and purchases of various pieces of armor and weapons. The items are quite expensive, and usually don’t get purchased by the local street commoners. However, this is the only armory around, so be prepared to spend an awful lot.
Lufin’s Café: Another highly expensive place to visit. The food is spectacular, ranging in from all types of various delicacies from different locations. Special requests can be made, if the buyer is willing to pay the considerable increase in money. It is rumored that the Lufin’s import these rarities by selling off street commoners as slaves.
Zaurin’s Station: The Lufin’s owned this establishment as well, only being turned over to Zaurin because of his occupation. The building itself was practically untouched by the adverse affects the war, containing several lower class officers, including Zaurin. The location enables easy access to just about everywhere, ranging from the Lufin’s Inn, to the outskirts of the N. section.
Abandoned Housing Areas: These once renowned areas have been decimated by the war. The significance of these areas is the rumors that have rapidly spread among the citizens. Some say the ghosts of the late residents haunt the area, keeping just about everyone from the outskirts, while others claim a vicious gang of undead soldiers claim the land, waiting for those foolish enough to enter the confines of the infinitely dark areas. None of these rumors are proven to be true or false, as Zaurin’s investigative team has yet to be sent.
