The once highly industrial town of Varzette has fallen victim to the atrocities of war. The remnants of the city barrier still highlight the outer perimeter, giving the city a foreboding look to anyone that nears the vicinity. However, life was far from lost within the confines of this place. In order to make things more manageable, the great city was divided into four separate sections, titled: North, South, East, and West. Unfortunately, the town was still in a chaotic state of being. Several months pass, which gives birth to the C.o.P., Council of Peacemakers. The best representative is taken from each section to be a part of this organization. The foursome erects the center building as their cardinal headquarters, before branching off into their different sectors. A constant beacon of light shines from the top of the base, serving as a guide to anyone that might need direction. There are rumors floating about that the light’s purpose serves something else entirely. Numerous different shops can be located throughout the different sectors of the city, while the C.o.P. headquarters harbor a few of their own simple shops.
C.o.P. Headquarters:
Inn: This inn is rather simple, offering anyone a place to stay for a night or two without the expensive price tag that usually follows. The beds are soft and warm, providing a decent night’s sleep at the most.
Armory: This armory specializes in everyday equipment needs. The inventory is not spectacular, but offers the simple weapons and armors at affordable rates. A sign hangs from the door, stating it is need for a Blacksmith.
Market: The food market is quite small, and holds only the essentials. It would be advisable to travel to one of the other restaurants within the different sectors if you are looking for something a bit more special.
The Penitentiary: This 'prison' is located deep within the recesses of the C.o.P. Headquarters. There are numerous holding cells for those that can't cope with the turn of events Varzette has been through. Although the cells are fairly escape-proof, there are rumors circulating that a group of particularly vile criminals escaped back into the system.
