Natives of Kisandria

Kisandria has a number of races on it. Some are common to many places; others are unique to Kisandria alone.

Aegishels: Aegishels were originally a somewhat peaceful race, having the occasional warrior types. They were the only inhabitants of Lankanier besides the Kahiron dragons. A remotely mutual existence stayed between them, using the deceased Kahiron bones for basic tools. However, a mysterious figure took residence in the extinct volcano, Vourkan. His name came to be known as Achtzehn Edicythe by the Aegishels soon after his appearance. The following month, countless malformed kahiron dragons poured from Vourkan, streaming into the dense forest surrounding it. These beasts origins were unknown, taking on the name Ecureuil. The malformed dragons stormed the Aegishlian towns on the outskirt of Lankanier randomly, causing immense havoc for the Aegishels. Years of fighting took place, giving the Aegishels their renowned traits of brutality. During the time before and after the fighting, many Aegishels would travel to the mainland of Kisandria to live, staking residence among humans. One day, the last two villages of Lankanier amassed a group of their strongest warriors. This group consisted of five men and three women. The group marched through the forest, destroying Ecureuils as they went. However, near the peek of Vourkan, a grotesquely malformed Ecureuil emerged from the dismal depths of the ground. A long battle ensued, leaving all five Aegishelian men slain. Fortunately, this gave the three women ample time to escape the monstrosity and continue on their quest. It is told that the women defeated the great Achtzehn Edicythe, but the true story lies within the secrets of Lankanier.

Elves: The Elves of Kisandria are essentially immortal, in that they do not age as humans do. Rather, their peculiar nature allows them to age at the rate they choose, even aging backwards, getting younger by the day, in their body, all changeable by a whim.

Humans: Humans seem to be something of a universal race. Humans native to Kisandria are much the same as anywhere else in the Planes, and they're by far the most numerous of the races on Kisandria.

Imps: The imps were originally created by mages to serve as couriers, servants, guards, and whatever functions they found necessary for them. As such, there are many different forms they may take, but the most common is that of a small grey creature, about three feet in height, humanoid, and occasionally with wings. As magical constructs, they do not have any natural habitat, but can survive practically anywhere. The only time temperatures really affect them are when they are hot enough to melt, or cold enough to turn the water vapour into ice around them. Imps sustain themselves by eating metals, rocks, and gems, usually, and magical items, such as enchanted rings and the like, are delicacies to them, and very sustaining. Granite, for instance, is much like hardtack to them. Not very appetizing, but good enough to keep one going. What the imps ingest is converted into sustenance for them in their torso, which lacks organs, but rather seems to be filled with some kind of molten flame. Their natural abilities tend to lead them towards fearlessness, if not arrogance.

Who are not natives of Kisandria?
Vampires: Although there are some rituals and some magic that revolve around blood, there is no native source of vampirism on Kisandria.
Demon/Angel hybrids: Neither demons nor angels, using those terms for spirits working for weal or woe, respectively, can reproduce, so any hybrid between a 'normal' race and demons or angels is impossible, on Kisandria. Neither can they reproduce between themselves. On Kisandria, demons and angels are sexless, although they may appear as one gender or another. Or both.
